Olive’s Food Innovation Team have hit the ground running in 2025 with new food concepts all set to reach our customers in the coming months. Our head office team have been fortunate to be the taste testers for this food innovation.
The first round showcased a selection of the new Signature Sandwich range which rolls out across our sites this Spring. The Chefs presented the Smoky Royale, which is a twist on the classic cheese and ham toastie, The Barmy Umami vegan feast and the Urban beef which features a flavoursome mix of roast beef and Stilton. The favourite by far was the Cheese Beet, a nostalgic twist on a cheese and beetroot sandwich topped with crisps.





The second showcase was for our new sustainable food concept which gives customers the chance to reduce their meat intake without compromising on flavour or portion size. Olive’s ‘mEAT smarter’ menu range launches this summer and plays a huge part in supporting client sustainability goals and our journey towards achieving net zero by 2035.



Additionally, the team of Food Innovation Chefs have also been on a road trip across the country delivering Curry master classes into all Olive Chefs and managers. The culinary workshops are rolling out through March, giving Olive team members the inspiration and skills to take their curry dishes to the next level.
