The start of 2023 sees Olive proving yet again that PEOPLE are at the forefront of their business.
‘People has always been one of our core values because we believe we are only as good as our Team Members, and this drives us to invest in them year after year’ says Olive’s Co-Founder Sally-Ann Bradley.
This investment is clear to see by the first of the years ‘Let’s Go’ managers induction held at head office during the second week of January. Attended by 9 new Catering and Chef Managers, the day proved to be a testament to Olive’s successful recruitment process.
The ‘Let’s go’ induction immerses new Team Members into Olive’s culture and encourages the individual’s passion for food to flourish. Olive’s Learning and development Manager, Jo Wills, delivers the day long induction which includes a company overview and focus on Olive’s 4 core values; an introduction to all of our head office Team Members; an overview of their roles and the tools available to support them; and finishes off with a Mental Health awareness workshop.
The highlight of the day has to be lunch at which point the Food Innovation Team presented their World street food concept ‘The Kerb’, showcasing their newest concept of Persian cuisine. The ‘Persian excursion’ allows the attendees to see, smell and taste the food whilst also meeting the team of people who will be helping to deliver the Kerb in their own contracts.
